Beach Out on Kinnickinni State Park

Kinnickinnic State Park offers many things for visitors to take part in since it's located in the St. Croix River Valley and on the St. Croix and Kinnickinnic Rivers. The sand bar right on the St. Croix River is a very popular gather place for many local boaters. Many beach up on the sand bar to grill, play frisbee, volleyball, horseshoes, sun bathe, swim and simply socialize!

Prescott Bay overlooks Prescott Beach and where the St. Croix begins off from the Mississippi RIver. Drop anchor and relax in the bay. Snack on a bagged lunch and play some games! Interested in relaxing? Set your towel down and soak up the sun rays on the sun pad or lounge chair!

Tubing, waterskiing, and wakeboarding

There are many spots on the St. Croix River to go tubing or waterskiing. The St. Croix River has great water for these activities and are very fun to do!

Visit the Historic Rivertowns

There are many towns right along the St. Croix River for you to visit and enjoy. They include Prescott, WI; Afton, MN; Stillwater, MN; and Hudson, WI.

Each town has it's own unique characteristics that make it one of Minnesota's St. Croix Valley River towns. You can simply go for a nice boat ride and catch lunch at one of many restaurants or just take a stroll of the river to enjoy the beauty of the areas. St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park

St. Croix Bluffs Reginonal Park is a great location for a picnic! They have a fishing pier that you can fish right off of! They have day parking available for boats along the shoreline and nearby portable restrooms!

The park sits on 579 acres, which fronts 3,800 feet of shoreline along the St. Croix River.

Discover Treasure Island Resort & Casino

Treasure Island Marina is located at Treasure Island Resort & Casinoin Red Wing, MN. The marina offers transient slips for overnight stays or for temporary stays to the Resort & Casino. If you want something new and exciting to do, you can take a boat out and travel down to Treasure Island to experience one of the many exciting activities at T.I.

Treasure Island offers a 24-lane bowling alley at the Island Xtreme Bowl, 150,000 plus square foot gaming floor, three venues where they have daily live entertainment, six restuarants and bars, Mount Frontenac Golf Course, and hotel.

Treasure Island Resort & Casino is located near Sturgeon Lake channel at mile marker 798.2, one mile north of Lock & Dam #3. The entire channel is a "no wake" zone.

Docking

There is public docking available on the south side of the Mississippi River before Lock & Dam #2.

The dock is 150 ft. long and 8 ft. wide. Boats may tie up to the dock for a maximum of 4 hours. Boats are not allowed to moor overnight.

Historic Hastings Saturday Night Cruise-In
On selected Saturday evenings during the summer, the Historic Hastings Saturday Night Cruise-In takes place downtown Hastings. Numerous car-lovers flee to the downtown streets to show off their impressive and well-maintained cars. Rivertown Days - July 19-21, 2013
Rivertown Days is a yearly celebration that takes place every July in Hastings. The community gathers during one weekend to celebrate the town and its heritage. Many events take place throughout the city, such as the carnival, concerts, art & craft fair, boat parade, and sporting events and shows. Docking

A public fishing dock is also available with handicapped accessibility (a WI fishing license is required). A 400' long dock is located on the St. Croix River,between the two bridges. It offers convenient short-term boat parking for boaters who wish to enjoy the downtown area of Prescott. No fee and no overnight docking.
